Should you eat genetically modified foods? Should we experiment with genetics at all? In a discussion on the implications of bioengineering, renowned bioethicist Arthur Caplan will explore the ethics behind these legal and scientific questions. Our future is staring us in the eye, he says, with the next era in science and medicine already opened. Genetic manipulation opens doors to infinite possibility, yes — yet Caplan asks us to pause in our wonderment and consider, does unlocking the door to a possibility instantly mean that the door ahead is a wise one to enter?
