Plan the Perfect Site

Goals

As the Article explains, the client should have a general idea on how they want their site to work and how they want it organized, but it is our job to understand those goals and to create the website not only for the client but also their targeted audience.

Organizing/Sitemaps

This is taking the information that the client provides, matching it with the goals, and carefully starting to construct the framework of the website with the header, footer, base, etc. This becomes a lot of information to process at times as explained so it is important to find the levels and hierarchy of this information and find what is truly important for your website.

Tools/Accessibility

When creating the website you must understand what tools you will need, one of the first things explained in this article is bandwidth and how you will need other third parties to be able to achieve having that bandwidth for your goals. Not only that but managing the website itself, how the website is broken down and then who will be managing the website, will it be content updated? It must be able to easily be updated by someone that did not make it. Then finally any site overhauls should be considered for easy changes in the future.

Conclusion

Organization and the understanding of your tools is one of if not the most important part about making a website.
