Our Facilities
Copper Summit Ski and Golf has been serving Michigan since 1949. The Brockway family has owned and operated Copper Summit since 1957. There are six lifts serving 10 runs, including numerous terrain features, and a snow tubing park on 43 acres. The ski season runs November through March, weather permitting. Recent additions to Copper Summit include the Zip Line Tours and Rocks and Valleys Off-Road Park. The area is just off US 127, between Clare and Harrison, MI.
Snow report
210 ft. vertical drop. 30% beginner, 45% intermediate, 10% advanced, 15% terrain park, 1 Triple chairlifts, and 4 rope tows. New last year, a Magic Carpet.
Snowmaking: 50 snowmaking positions with a capacity of up to 1,000 gallons of water per minute... or 12" of machine made snow in a 24 hour period at temperatures of 20ยก F.
Ski Lodge: 5,500 square feet Bar & Lounge upstairs... Short Order Grill, Rental Shop, Ski Patrol First Aid Facility, Ticket, Ski School Lesson Center, Reception & Group Sales Upstairs.
Ski School Lesson Center: PSIA/AASI certified, 30+ instructors, ski & snowboard lessons for all abilities - both group and private.
