Software: Adobe Dreamweaver
Concept: The concept was to design a website for a ski resort in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, targeting an upper-middle-class to high-end audience. I employed a minimalistic design with dark shades of blue and gray to evoke a sense of elegance and sophistication, while large, high-quality photos showcased the resort's scenic beauty. A serif font was chosen to reinforce the feeling of luxury, balancing the sleek visuals with a timeless, classic aesthetic that appeals to a discerning clientele.
Description: The final project became a 5-page responsive website, properly formatted for desktop, tablet, and smartphone views. Key features include active photos that enlarge upon hover and highlighted text that enhances user engagement. The pages consist of a homepage, about us, accommodations, amenities, and a contact page, ensuring visitors have comprehensive information about the resort's offerings. Additionally, a 'stay in touch' contact system in the footer allows users to easily reach out for inquiries, further facilitating communication with potential guests.
Discipline: Web design, digital illustration, research, and coding.
